The Brief and Problem
Bishwobhumi.com is a responsive digital news portal developed by Lumino Technology and operated by BB Media Pvt. Ltd., delivering real-time national, international, and local news to audiences across Nepal. Fully registered with the Information Department of Nepal, the platform runs on a dynamic content management system supporting structured categories from politics and economy to sports and multimedia, optimized for seamless performance across mobile and desktop devices.
Bishwobhumi.com started on WordPress, which worked well in its early stages. However, as the portal grew into a registered news platform with increasing readership and high-volume daily publishing, limitations around security, performance, scalability, and plugin dependency became more apparent.
For BB Media, the risk was operational. Security vulnerabilities or downtime during breaking news could affect reader trust and credibility. The platform needed a more secure, scalable, and reliable architecture built for real-time digital journalism.
Our Process
Discovery and Scope Definition

Full Migration to the MERN Stack
